On the shores of Lake Ontario

Hello everyone! A good day to you.

This blog will mainly be about places I've been to and liked, but for now I will start with the country I moved to: Canada. As a foreigner here, you have a LOT of places to see and experience. From all points of view. What I will write about here will mainly be about how you can keep boredom away while travelling.

This may sound boring to some of you, but just watching the lake made me feel very good. I love the sea and Lake Ontario reminded me of it. It even had that specific smell that just calms you.
So I just sat on the beach, just watching the lake, with my earphones on, listening to music and enjoying some green ice tea. Weirdly so, the songs I was listening to kind of matched the surroundings and my mood, which made it just perfect.

After that, I went on a stroll around the harbor. Being such a lovely day, it was the best decision I had made.

Close to the Bronte Harbor (Oakville), you can find cafes and terraces where you can go and enjoy a cup of coffee, with the view of the lake stretching from one side to the other.

If you drive on Lakeshore, you will be able to see the lake almost the whole time. From downtown Toronto to Burlington, you will have the mass of blue glistening beautifully, offering you a feeling of calm.

So if you enjoy a nice walk along the beach or a good drive on the lake shore, just jump in a car and go for a ride. You can stop along the way to eat something in a nice restaurant or have a coffee in a cafe anywhere on the shore.

Next time's subject: it's a surprise. :)
